Nutrition I: 3 Swedish credits, 4,5 ECTS credits. Introduction to chemistry, physiology and anatomy as a base for further studies in biochemistry and nutrition.
Nutrition II: 5 Swedish credits, 7.5 ECTS credits. Biochemistry and nutrition: proteins and amino acids, carbohydrates and lipids. Dietary goals and guidelines during the life cycle.
Nutrition III: 5 Swedish credits, 7.5 ECTS credits. Vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, water and acid-base balance, energy and metabolism.
Nutrition IV: 4 Swedish credits, 6 ECTS credits. Community nutrition with field studies.
Nutrition V: 3 Swedish credits, 4,5 ECTS credits. Nutritional needs in different groups, nutritional and dietary assessment.
